My beautiful ladies Adrianna and Kamilah they grow and learn so fast anyway I talked to 2 amazing strong young women Millennials about how it is being in the age of millennials in tech and the challenges they face in it. Also why they love WWCode and how they continue to try to find that job in tech after graduating from college.
In 2015 I receive an email from Erica director of the Women Who Code Atlanta. She had asked if I was interested in going to WWDC15 on a scholarship and I said sure, Hell Yeah!!!. So I email Erica and Alaina (CEO of Women Who Code) and let them know that I was very interested in going to the WWDC15. After sending Apple everything they asked for about my app and that I had a iOS study group for women with Women who code. I was told by Alaina that there were only a few slots available I believe about 4 slots and 6 ladies had applied. So I was like no matter thanks for the opportunity, all they could do is say no to me and that was fine.
The reason that I started the blog is because for several years people that I have met told me too many time to start a blog and I was like, I can’t write, I hate writing, I’m not good with grammar or spelling or anything to do with this writing thing.
At one of my jobs I even got written up almost fired just because of this grammar, spelling, writing thing so when I tried to explain why I don't write I would think that folks would totally understand where I was coming from.
